Vitalief Completes Series A Funding Round

Vitalief, a leading innovator in research and clinical trial solutions, today announced the completion of a $2.75 million Series A funding round led by Tech Council Ventures.

As the research and clinical trial industry’s most innovative functional service provider (FSP), Vitalief is poised to address current staffing challenges in the field that have been exacerbated by a global pandemic, the great resignation, and a burgeoning gig economy.

Vitalief’s PEOPLE FIRST approach is designed to identify, recruit, and retain top talent, filling the personnel void that has resulted from these rapidly changing market dynamics.  The company will use the funds to expand its specialized resource teams, enhance recruiting capacity, and increase marketing and sales efforts.

David Moore, Vitalief Chairman and CEO, commented, “We are uniquely positioned to address the emerging challenges that the research and clinical trial industry is facing. This funding will enable our team to build out our capabilities and execute on our growth plans. We appreciate the support and trust our investors have placed in our team. We are committed to exceeding their expectations.”

“The expertise gap is really being felt across the clinical research arena,” noted Mark Kolb, Entrepreneur in Residence at Tech Council Ventures. “Clinical trials are being canceled due to a lack of essential, skilled resources. We see the value Vitalief brings to research teams and to the broader industry. Their solutions are already having a positive impact and helping teams to complete more successful trials.”

John Doll, Chief Operating Officer of RWJBarnabas Health, added, “We are excited about the Vitalief vision and the team’s commitment to executing on it. There is an increasing need in the market and Vitalief offers tremendous value in the solutions they bring to the table. We are excited to add Vitalief to our investment portfolio.”
